Join us for a truly inspiring day at The Bath Flower School with guest teacher Andrea Gilpin. In the morning, you’ll immerse yourself in seasonal blooms, creating your own show-stopping compote bowl arrangement while learning the principles of colour, texture and design. Then, in the afternoon, Andrea will unlock the essentials of floral photography, showing you how to capture your arrangement beautifully using either your phone or a digital camera. Whether you’re on iPhone, Android, or DSLR, you’ll learn to work with natural light, style and frame your shots, and use simple settings such as focus, exposure and depth of field so your flowers look every bit as stunning on screen as they do in real life. Celebrate British Flowers Week 2025 as The Bath Flower School collaborates with Sarah Wilson of Compton Garden Flowers at her picturesque flower farm in Compton Dando, Somerset.
The day includes a farm tour, engaging discussions, live demonstrations, a picnic lunch, and an afternoon making a beautiful hand-tied bouquet using freshly picked flowers from Sarah’s farm. It's set to be a wonderful day!
